USB Raptor boleh mengunci sistem apabila USB drive tertentu dikeluarkan daripada komputer dan unlock apabila drive itu dipasang semula pada mana-mana port USB. Ia sentiasa memeriksa USB drive akan kehadiran file unlock khusus dengan kandungan encrypted. Jika file khusus ini didapati, komputer kekal unlocked jika tidak komputer terkunci. Untuk membebaskan sistem yang terkunci, pengguna perlu plug USB bersama file khusus itu di mana-mana port USB. Sebagai alternatif pengguna boleh enable (atau disable) dua cara tambahan untuk membuka sistem itu iaitu mesej network atau password. USB Raptor 0.18.88.
